As part of my full time role as a Digital Experience Engineer at Reduct Nepal, I redesigned sections of Reduct.Video’s website to improve user experience and implemented content marketing strategies to improve visibility and engagement. The goal was to create a responsive, user-friendly website aligned with modern design standards, while leveraging targeted content strategies to drive traffic and conversions.

The Why?

Problem

The existing website had usability challenges and lacked visual appeal, leading to high bounce rates. Content marketing efforts were scattered, with minimal SEO optimization and low brand visibility in target markets.

Solution

A complete website overhaul, prioritizing user-centric design principles and responsiveness across devices, was undertaken. The content strategy was redesigned to focus on SEO-friendly practices, creating a mix of engaging blog posts, guides, and social media content to get inbound leads.

Design Process

  1. Research: Conducted competitor analysis and usability testing to understand gaps and user expectations.

  2. Ideation: Designed wireframes and prototypes in Figma, focusing on accessibility and content.

  3. Implementation: Developed the site using Gatsby.js for fast-loading and dynamic experiences.

  4. Iteration: Conducted multiple rounds of iterative improvements.

Takeaway
